Core Principles & Intentional Design
#

Sealed Letter is intentionally designed to be calm, deliberate, and low-noise.

Many digital tools encourage constant interaction and immediacy. Sealed Letter takes a different approach by supporting communication that is planned, purposeful, and respectful of timing.

Key principles include:

  • Intentional use
Letters are created with care and released deliberately.

  • No instant delivery
A built-in cooldown period helps prevent impulsive or accidental sharing.

  • No social pressure
There are no feeds, notification loops, or engagement mechanics.

  • User control
You decide what is shared, when it becomes available, and who can access it.

These choices ensure Sealed Letter remains a place for meaningful communication rather than another messaging platform.
